What router is best for your customer?
AER1600 OR 2200 – Great fit if the customer does not have a firewall or uses the router given by the ISP. Spectrum, Frontiers, Cox, Comcast and ATT Uverse are all good examples of ISPs that provide routers. The ISP provided routers do not have any built in failover capability and are why an AER1600 or enterprise grade firewall is needed.
CBA850 – Great fit if the customer has a Sonicwall, Fortinet, Watchguard, Meraki or other business or enterprise grade firewall. The CBA850 is connected to the customer’s firewall via an ethernet cable and the firewall handles the actual failover to the cradlepoint.
